NYEF seeks to meet the mental and behavioral health needs of our community through our fiscal sponsorship of Rural Resilience.

Rural Resilience connects rural communities to behavioral and mental health solutions while protecting social well-being and fostering resilience to thrive.  We are a grant funded program by the Arthur M. Blank Foundation, North Yellowstone Education Foundation and many more.

Gardiner school is currently working with the JED Foundation to develop a program specific to our High School/Jr. High. JED strengthens schools by working

directly with high schools, colleges, and universities — representing millions of students — to put systems, programs, and policies in place to create a culture of caring that protects student mental health, builds life skills, and makes it more likely that struggling students will seek help and be recognized, connected to care, and supported. NYEF is proud to assist with financial support of this program.

Gardiner Elementary began a new program in 2021 called Character Strong. NYEF is proud to support the teacher resource library for this program through a Connect! Grant.
